Cub Scout Summer Camps

All Camps offer Tiger Cubs through Webelos Scouts a chance to make crafts, shoot BB guns, shoot bows and arrows, play games, learn about nature, earn advancements, be with friends and most importantly...HAVE FUN!   Youth must be a registered scout to attend Cub camp.

Twilight Camp runs for consecutive evenings for several hours each evening.


Summer Camp for Webelos Scouts at Cherokee Scout Reservation

The Old North State Council is excited to provide Webelos and Arrow of Lights a summer camp opportunity at Cherokee Scout Reservation for Summer 2020.

Summer Camp dates are Sunday, August 2 through Wednesday, August 5th. If we fill the first session, we will offer an overflow session from Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 8.

We will host an open house, for Cubmasters and Webelos den leaders, on Saturday, February 22 starting at 11:00 am at Cherokee Scout Reservation. Please RSVP by Tuesday, February 18th


Cub Scout Family Camp-outs

Districts typically hold a Cub Scout camp out for the entire family one weekend in the Spring and one in the Fall.    Catch a fish, sleep in a tent, shoot a BB gun and a bow and arrow.  Adventures are waiting to be discovered at our Scout Camps! Woodfield Scout Preservation is located in Asheboro, NC and Cherokee Scout Camp, located in Yanceyville, NC.


Mom & Me Weekend

Mom and Me Camp is a fun weekend for mom's and their Cub Scout. The weekend is spent at Woodfield Scout Preservation in Asheboro, NC.  Traditional Cub Scout activities along with special programs are on the weekend agenda.
